The Cleantech Chamber of Commerce NZ
The world population is currently 7 billion. At todays growth rates the net population is increasing by a net 150000 per day. The world is faced with challenges from global environmental problems, resource shortages and energy price increases, clean technologies are recognized as vital for economic growth.
Clean technology for our purposes is any technology that;

Reduces the reliance on non renewable resources (transition Technology)

Replaces non-renewable resources with renewable resources

Reduces pollution or creates non-polluting business processes

To advocate for and develop the best platform off which CleanTech business can operate and take advantage of current political, environmental and economic ecosystems.

The Cleantech Chamber of Commerce NZ | Charter
The Cleantech Chamber of Commerce NZ is a voluntary association of companies and individuals engaged in business activities in the Clean Technologies Industries.

We seek Freedom of enterprise for those who by their individual and corporate talents contribute real economic, social and cultural wealth to the community.

We advocate for the development of a market economy in which there is minimal interference from central and local government.
It is our Aim to strengthen The Cleantech industry in New Zealand as the pre-eminent commercial, industry and business foundation of our economy and assist in the development of the region in creating a desirable commercial, industrial and natural environment for its citizens.

We are politically nuetral. We have no opinion on Climate change. We are concerned only with the opportunities for our membership and businesses to take commercial & economic advantage in the changing demands of Consumers, Industry and Government.
